I don't remember exactly what the steps were, and don't often use that tool so it would be fresh in my listen. Thanks. Looking more for an update to a legit uninstall by Microsoft the concluding requests for this all date to a yr ago.
While I appreciate the advice, I disagree. When I say Edge has proven itself I mean in terms of its beta testing phases when originally released.
This was the so chosen excuse that IE was left in place until testing was "done"
I work in the GOV sector and while IE is still king, it'south out of addiction for 20 yrs vs using something new like Edge.
In professional and personal usage I accept found Edge is more than sufficient and allows the majority of sites which were originally non working without IE.
Once again this has been many many years that they take blocked the uninstall and should be an OPTION to remove not mandatory to keep.
Perhaps the security is poor and that is why they have not pushed harder, but in that location should be a point information technology is available as uninstall /reinstall this would perhaps push people to utilise Edge more than. IE has been hanging round similar an annoying fly for too long. How long will IE11 be around when allegedly its the last.

How do we remove IE from Windows ten permanently? not just turning the characteristic off.
I predict that you will be reinstalling IE11 earlier besides long, only...
Get-go > Settings > Apps > Apps & features > Manage optional features > Internet Explorer 11 > select > uninstall.
"How do I reinstall IE11?" has been asked a lot more times than "How do I completely remove IE11?"
